 RIGGS & GRIMM SELECTED TO PSAC WINTER "TOP TEN" AWARD (Clarion, Pa.): Clarion's NCAA Champion diver Teagan Riggs (Sr. Meadville) and women's basketball standout Ashley Grimm (Sr. Sugarloaf/Hazleton) were named today to the PSAC's (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Winter Academic Top Ten Award. [+]  CLARION 8TH AT NCAA D-II SWIM & DIVE NATIONALS Clarion's Women's Swimming and Diving team placed a strong 8th at the recently completed NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships, under 8th year head coach Mark VanDyke. Held at the Mizzou Aquatic Center in Columbia, Missouri, Clarion scored 190 points to finish in eoghth place. Truman State won the women's nationals with 461.5 points, Drury was second with 449, North Dakota third with 324, Cal San Diego fourth with 302 and Nebraska-Omaha 242 points. [+]  LEITZINGER & KANE 6TH AT NCAA D-II NATIONALS (Columbia, Missouri): Clarion University senior backstroke specialist Lori Leitzinger (State College) and senior diver James Kane (Plymouth) placed 6th in their specialties highlighting the final day of competition for the Golden Eagle in the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championships in Columbia, Missouri.
