CLARION 12TH AT CAMP LeJEUNE INVITE

Final Stats

(Camp LeJeune, N.C.): Clarion opened its Spring golf season at the Camp LeJeune Invitational at Paradise Point and the Golden Eagles finished 12th out of 14 teams participating.

Averett won the invitational with a score of 896 over 54-holes with California, Pa. second at 897 and Reinhart College third with a 906. Clarion was 12th with a 929.

Leading the Golden Eagles was Preston Mullens (Sr. Emporium) who tied for 27th individually with a 229 (74, 82, 73). Right behind him in 30th place was Jared Schmader (Fr. Cooperstown) with a 230 (74, 81, 75), and Justin Moose (Sr. North Huntingdon) with a 233 (76, 79, 78), good for 42nd place.

Also playing for the Eagles were Justin Cameron (Jr. Punxsutawney) who was 51st with a 237 (76, 81, 80) and Nick Brucker (Jr. Apollo) who was 69th with a 262 (83, 96, 83).

The Golden Eagles are next scheduled to play in the IUP Invitational on April 14-15.
