LORETTO - The Clarion University women's track and field team competed at the St. Francis Red Flash Open Saturday at St. Francis (PA) University. According to head coach Jayson Resch, three athletes had solid meets including Molly Smathers, Jamie Maloney and Ann Stinson. Smathers took third in the 800 in a time of 2:19.77, while Maloney was fourth in both the 100 hurdles (15.66) and the 400 hurdles (64.18). Stinson finished second in the javelin with a throw 131-1. The Golden Eagles return to action next weekend at the PSAC Championships at IUP. |
